The Enemy Within was written to highlight the plight of immigrants facing hostility in the UK by small minded bigots who do not realise that if they are looking for someone to “blame” for the number of foreigners now resident in the UK, they should be looking not at the immigrants, but at the government. It goes like this ……

A smoking gun, from the pages of The Sun
Another stain, on all our hopes to gain
From East to West, across the broad divide
When times are tight, and everybody wants a fight and it’s

What are doing living here
When is it all going to end, my friend
The country has lost it’s way, they say
But can’t you see, your enemy’s right here

And I know, it’s hard to see
The enemy through all the lies they’re telling you
And we know, through history
The enemy, the enemy is within…….

A silent joke, the sender never spoke
A workplace taunt, another face to haunt
It’s us and them, and we aint giving in
They don’t belong, and here they go again it’s

What are doing living here
When is it all going to end, my friend
The country has lost it’s way, they say
But can’t you see, your enemy’s right here

And I know, it’s hard to see
The enemy through all the lies they’re telling you
And we know, through history
The enemy, the enemy is within…….
