The B-52s and DEVO have announced two unmissable UK co-headline shows for June 2026. The shows are scheduled at The O2 in London on Saturday 20th June and Manchester’s AO Arena on Sunday 21st June, with special guests The Rezillos and Lene Lovich.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 5 December 2025 at 10am, and you can register for pre-sale here

These special shows are the UK stop on the bands’ critically acclaimed Cosmic De-Evolution tour of the US and Canada.

These shows will see The B-52s’ first performances in the UK since 2019. Led by original co-founders Fred Schneider (vocals), Kate Pierson (vocals, keyboards), and Cindy Wilson (vocals), the band remain one of the most iconic and influential American bands of the last four decades.

DEVO remains fronted by original members Mark Mothersbaugh (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Gerald Casale (vocals, bass, keyboards) and Bob Mothersbaugh (guitar, vocals). In 2023, they launched their 50 Years of De-Evolution tour alongside a career-spanning compilation album, reigniting global interest in their innovative fusion of art rock, synth pop and new wave punk.

In support are Scottish punk legends The Rezillos, who have risen to cult status by virtue of their Top 10 debut album Can’t Stand the Rezillos and their high energy blend of Sixties garage rock, off kilter pop and technicolour punk. Opening the evening will be the iconic Lene Lovich with her theatrical, avant pop style and cult classics which have left an enduring imprint on alternative music.

A Plea From Louder Than War

Louder Than War is run by a small but dedicated independent team, and we rely on the small amount of money we generate to keep the site running smoothly. Any money we do get is not lining the pockets of oligarchs or mad-cap billionaires dictating what our journalists are allowed to think and write, or hungry shareholders. We know times are tough, and we want to continue bringing you news on the most interesting releases, the latest gigs and anything else that tickles our fancy. We are not driven by profit, just pure enthusiasm for a scene that each and every one of us is passionate about.

To us, music and culture are eveything, without them, our very souls shrivel and die. We do not charge artists for the exposure we give them and to many, what we do is absolutely vital. Subscribing to one of our paid tiers takes just a minute, and each sign-up makes a huge impact, helping to keep the flame of independent music burning! Please click the button below to help.
